Cheyenne Mallo Pottery

Cheyenne and Zac make functional pottery that features maps of mountains, hiking trails and rivers. They love hiking and exploring natural landscapes, and their work allows them to share their enthusiasm for the outdoors with fellow adventurers. They hope that each piece will serve as an everyday reminder of a past adventure, a special location, or a future hiking plan. Cheyenne grew up in rural Wisconsin and moved to the Hudson Valley in 2011, where she transitioned from printmaking to clay. Zac, a native of the Hudson Valley, joined in late 2018. They currently maintain a home studio in Olivebridge, NY, near the Catskill Mountains.

masha Dasha designs

Melissa Levine founded Masha Dasha Designs, in 2012. Masha Dasha creates one of a kind, handcrafted pieces using art supplies and recycled materials such as crayons, pencils, buttons and wine corks. Melissa graduated with a BFA in Art History and Fine Art from American University. Upon graduation, she spent 12 years working in art galleries and museums in both New York City and Washington, D.C. During that time, Melissa continued creating her own artwork; oil paintings, pastels and custom Jewish Marriage Contracts called Ketubahs. Melissa draws the inspiration for her company, and its name, from her 14 year-old twin daughters Meredith and Danielle, (Masha and Dasha in Russian) whom she and her husband Mike adopted at 15 months of age. When not working in her home studio, Melissa volunteers at her daughter’s school and teaches art workshops. An avid pet lover, Melissa can also be found walking her dog on the trails of suburban Westchester, NY and fostering dogs and cats.

kit burke-smith jewelry

The shapes in my work come from everyday moments, like watching birds or afternoon shadows. I use traditional hand fabricated metalsmithing methods to create new minimalist and sculptural jewelry. Materials are silver, 18k gold, neoprene rubber, and the occasional Peruvian opal and Tahitian pearl. I enjoy making work where the process informs how the shapes turn out. One example is my line of asymmetric paired loops, earrings that start from the same piece of metal, then split apart to make two elements that are not identical but relate to each other through the way they were made. Picture a long strip of linguini being cut lengthwise in a wavy line with each half becoming a looped earring and you will get the idea. Most of my work is made with the same foundational skills I often pass on to beginner metalsmithing students, like piercing and casting. I keep my methods relatively traditional but use them to create pieces that feel minimalist and sculptural. I happily live and maintain a studio in the heart of New York's Hudson Valley.

Zhungo Handbags & Crafts

As a woman, mother, and leader, I am driven by love and a deep passion for what I do. My designing dreams began 27 years ago when I enrolled in a cutting and sewing academy in Cuenca, Ecuador. After moving to the United States, I worked with interior designers creating home decor pieces. I fell in love with leather materials working in the assembly and packaging of designer handbags. That experience gave me the skills necessary to design my own bags. In 2019, I realized my dream and launched my own line of leather products. My goal is to create beautiful and functional handbags that are unique, making every customer feel special and confident.

I offer exclusive designs, in different colors and sizes to suit any taste and need. I use only the highest-quality leather, sourced from top suppliers in Italy and Brazil. Whether you're looking for a stylish clutch for a night out or a spacious tote bag for everyday use, I’ve got your bag…as well as keychains, totes, backpacks, card holders, wallets, and more.

mount cornwall bindery

I have always loved old books and paper. My art journey started as a child with a mom who was creating all the time, so I thought that's just what people did. I got a degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, but wound up working in education, though I never stopped creating for fun. Fast forward many years, the love of paper and books lead me to taking courses in paper making, paper marbling, book binding and restoration. I love creating things that others can enjoy.
